Plant, Algae, and Environment (Plant Algae Environ) is an open access double-blind peer-reviewed Semiannually journal published by Shahid Beheshti University which publish original full-length articles, reviews, and letters pertinent to all related fields of botany, phycology, plant microbial science, interactions between plants, other organisms, and the environment, biochemistry, biotechnology, phytotechnology, development of techniques, and practical applications of plants and algae. This journal was published as a biannual journal until 2024. Starting in 2025, it has been upgraded to a quarterly journal to accommodate more high-quality research papers due to an increase in submissions.
The journal provides an intellectual platform for novel researchers working on issues related to Plant, Algae, and the Environment. It was founded in response to the rapid advancements in the field and is dedicated to publishing the highest-quality research studies that report findings on issues of great concern to the profession of Plant, Algae, and Environment.

The Journal of Plant, Algae, and Environment (Plant Algae Environ), established in 2017, is a double-blind peer-reviewed Semiannually journal, owned, managed & published by Shahid Beheshti University. The primary goal is to provide information on botany, phycology, and plant microbial sciences, as well as interactions between plants, other organisms, and the environment. Plant and algae-related research topics from other biological disciplines that fit the journal's scope include biochemistry, biotechnology, phytotechnology, the development of techniques, and practical applications of plants and algae. The journal publishes original research articles that lead to novel knowledge, innovation, and understanding of the field of Plant, Algae, and Environment. The major fields of specialization in the journal encompass all related aspects of Plant, Algae, and Environment. The journal scope includes, but is not restricted to, the following areas:
