Journal of Plant, Algae, and Environment is a semiannual journal covering original research. This journal was founded in 2017 by Shahid Beheshti University Publishing and the Phycological Society of Iran. The primary goal is to enhance research in botany, phycology, and plant microbial science, and provide more information on interactions between plants, other organisms, and the environment. Plant and algae-related research topics from other biological disciplines that fit within the journal's scope include biochemistry, biotechnology, phytotechnology, development of techniques, and practical applications of plants and algae.
